Heavy Gauge & Tubular Weldments
Siba Industry is a trusted and certified partner for medium- to high-volume fabrication of heavy gauge structural weldments. We specialize in MIG and TIG welding across plate, sheet, and tubular materials, utilizing both highly automated robotic systems and manual welding procedures to meet a wide variety of customer requirements.
Our welders and robotic systems operate in full compliance with established Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and are certified to meet the rigorous standards of:
- American Welding Society (AWS)
- American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
- This ensures all weldments meet or exceed industry expectations for strength, consistency, and structural integrity.
Welding System
Siba Industry operates numerous advanced robotic welding systems integrated with automated material handling and fixturing solutions to maximize production efficiency and consistency. Key features include:
- Synchronized multi-head welding systems for parallel processing and high-volume output
- Torch head touch sensing technology for precise weld alignment and positioning
- Automated fixture clamping and positioning to ensure repeatability and reduce setup time
- CNC-controlled articulating and rotating fixtures for complex weld access and flexibility
- Overhead crane systems for efficient material movement and positioning
Weld Procedures
At Siba Industry, all welding operations are governed by stringent weld procedures that comply with project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP) requirements. To ensure structural integrity and weld quality, both non-destructive and destructive testing methods are routinely performed.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
Visual Inspection, Liquid Dye Penetrant, Radiographic Testing, Digital X-ray, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing. - Destructive Testing:
Macro-Etch, Micro-Etch, Tensile Testing, Bend Testing, Pull Testing, Nugget Break, and Mechanical Testing. - These comprehensive testing protocols ensure every weld meets or exceeds the applicable codes, specifications, and performance standards.
